50 Years of Vacuum Solutions for the Oil and Gas Industry.

With 50 years of experience within the varied vacuum applications of the oil and gas industry, Busch offers proven solutions which can be tailored to exact customer requirements. At SPE Offshore Europe in Aberdeen Busch is presenting the Dolphin liquid ring vacuum pump. These are perfectly suited for use in demanding processes.

A wide range of processes require tailored, reliable vacuum technology. That is why vacuum technology is an important component in the production and processing of oil and gas.

Busch has specialized in applications for the oil and gas industry, and can draw from a large product portfolio of various types of vacuum technology when designing vacuum systems.

In addition to Dolphin liquid ring vacuum pumps, COBRA dry screw vacuum pumps or powerful Tyr rotary lobe blowers can also be used in such vacuum systems.

Busch vacuum pump systems are installed across the globe in all areas of oil and gas exploration, extraction, refinement and distribution. In VOC vapour recovery BuschÂ’s custom built vacuum systems are designed to recover vapour as well as providing benefits such as the reduction of environmentally hazardous substance discharge, while also minimising significant loss of potentially valuable energy represented by the evaporation of oil. Tailor made to meet the specific needs of each customer, Busch vacuum systems also increase the effectiveness and efficiency of the crude oil distillation processes.

Dolphin liquid ring vacuum pumps in combination with air ejectors provide a highly effective solution when specified and installed in the Seawater de-aeration application, achieving levels of less than 50 ppb of oxygen present in seawater. Dolphin liquid ring compressors are frequently used to reduce emissions and generate cost savings as part of the flare gas and vent gas recovery process. And Dolphin liquid ring vacuum pumps are used in the gas boosting application to boost the gas pressure up to 2 bar above atmospheric, enabling the gas to be delivered to a high pressure pipeline.

To ensure that using MEG is a cost effective solution for hydrate inhibition, it is recovered, regenerated and re-used via vacuum technology from Busch. Busch can also provide vacuum and overpressure solutions for other associated applications such as mud transfer and drying, filtration, air scour, accommodation central vacuum systems and cargo oil pump priming.

BuschÂ’s manufacturing plants and systems building centres all comply with ISO 9001 to ensure that products and services are of the highest quality possible. In addition, Busch offer performance and fully functional testing, as well as having the capability to build systems for use in different locations which will comply with any local content requirements and to suit specific project demands.

Furthermore, Busch operates a global service network to install commission and maintain vacuum systems. The Busch service team has all the necessary certifications and specially trained staff to maintain all vacuum systems on oil and gas rigs, including any sensitive areas of activity. With local service centres in more than sixty countries, Busch provide a quick response service to all installed systems worldwide.
